Our vehicle had paint peeling off the roof and hood. I contacted 4 places for quotes. Maaco was the first, who had me drive in for an accurate quote. They seemed honest in their explanation of options and paint. The other 3 places gave similar quotes, and one much more expensive without clear explanation. I appreciated the staff at Maaco in their honesty on options and timeline. So I went with them. They sanded and repainted the hood and roof. Now our car looks almost brand new! We are very happy with the result and quick turnaround.

Great to work with. Having a classic, it’s not easy getting a nice paint job without spending $20-30K. The shop manager, Al, was really receptive to what I wanted done. Very fair price and a great paint job. More than I was looking for.

I recently took my 2008 silver Honda Civic to be repainted at Maaco on Kearny Villa Road. My paint was badly worn and down to the base coat. I first arrived there not knowing what to expect, however Chris spent over 45 minutes patiently answering my many questions. He was very friendly/helpful and made me feel confident getting my car painted there. I decided to get their top tier paint job. Once they were done and I went to pick it up I was pleasantly surprised how nice of a job they had done, especially taping the car before painting it, I could barely even tell the trim was not removed when they painted it (which they will do, if you chose to). In addition to this, they perfectly matched the paint on the fenders to the body which is notoriously difficult to do; I was very impressed. They did an incredible job making the paint nice and smooth with virtually no orange peel or any dust under the paint whatsoever! I did later return for a minor question regarding paint care and Al as well as Chris were kind and helpful once again. In the end I'm very happy I chose Maaco and could not be happier! My 2020 Subaru Forester Touring had paint peeling from the hood and needed to be stripped down and repainted. My back tailgate was peeling as well. I took my Subaru to many different auto body shops and most shops were quoting me around $2,000 to strip/sand down and repaint the hood and back tailgate. I decided to go to Maaco and they quoted my $1,000. At first, I thought it was too good to be true, but after doing some research, I learned that Maaco offers a 3-5 year warranty for paint jobs. None of the the other paint and body shops were willing to do a warranty that matched Maaco's or match their price. Of course, all the other paint and body shops warned me that Maaco uses inferior products and it's not possible to do work that cheap. After Maaco re-painted my Subaru hood and back tailgate, it looked like a brand new vehicle, I am so happy I chose them. When I took my Subaru into Maaco, I met Chris and Al, and both were amazing to work with. I worked primarily with Chris and he was honest from the start and didn't try to overcharge me. this Maaco location is hands down THE BEST. they have fixed both my car and another that i JACKED UP and it made it look like NEW but for way less than everyone else. i have gone to them multiple times and they are pleasant to deal with and HONEST. i never thought i would have a preferred car shop BUT these guys are it!! Al and his team are the best!
